We took a kite along, I think it is called a delta, but it didn’t work properly (kept wizzing around in circles). I didn’t enjoy our last visit (about 2 and half year ago) to Corio Bay very much, because there were heaps of sandflies and we went for a really long walk. This time we couldn’t go for a walk because the outlet had changed direction, but there was still plenty of bities around.

You can get a good idea of what Corio Bay looks like by going to Google Maps.

I must warn you however, if you do attempt to go up there be prepared for a fairly bumpy drive as the road isn’t very well maintained.
